The first scheduled commercial airline flight happened 100 years ago yesterday – on 1 January 1914 – with one passenger travelling the 20 km from St Petersburg, Florida, to nearby Tampa, aboard the Airboat Line.  (Vesilentäjät olivat edelläkävijöitä jo silloin.. 😉 )
